What is Semester GPA?
Your semester GPA captures your academic performance for a single term—whether it's Fall, Spring, or Summer. It only considers courses taken during that specific period, giving you a snapshot of recent performance.
This is different from your cumulative GPA (CGPA), which averages all grades across your entire academic history. Use our CGPA Calculator for that.

FAQ
Your cumulative GPA is the weighted average of all semester GPAs. A strong semester raises it; a weak one lowers it. The impact depends on how many total credits you've accumulated versus the semester's credits.
If you want your summer term GPA, only enter summer courses. For cumulative GPA, include all terms. Use the CGPA Calculator to combine multiple semesters.
